While the secular world realizes the effect music has on people some called the “church” want to deny these same effects. Maybe because they refuse to realize the fact that they themselves are struggling with the same effects in their own lives. Maybe they have found a way to make secular music influence their lives in a way that church hasn’t. If that were the case then my question would have to be are they truly saved in the first place?

If we are so easily able to dismiss the fact that we seek in worldly things what Christ is more than enough to fulfil in us then we have a problem with worshiping other Gods mainly ourselves! We do as we will and care less what God thinks when we refuse to acknowledge the warning from God through Paul in Romans 12:2 which states; “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

We cannot conform church if we allow this into our homes and even more our hearts we run the risk of becoming defiled and once that occurs our worship becomes defiled. And as John 4:24 states “23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

ABORTION…

First off I want to thank RW Glenn for tweeting this which I believe is in Support of PRO-Life and also for the show of love toward Blacks and Latinos in general!

Though I have my doubts regarding the numbers and the time and manor in which they came about they become secondary.

The primary and most important fact is that ABORTION is killing our people the HUMAN RACE! So yes while it may be the “White Supremacist’s best friend” the 25% or so of minorities are the one that ACT OUT ABORTION! So though the White Supremacist’s are best friends with it we are our own worst enemy!

Just as ADDICTION is the Drug War Fighters best friend, Addicts are responsible for ACTING OUT ADDICTION as is everyone who ACTS OUT ABORTION!

The Good News is that their is forgiveness through Christ for such Actions when True Repentance has taken place!

So while the TWEET did not blame White Supremacists or condone Abortion I just felt the need to show that we take ownership for our own actions!

I thank GOD that He stepped in when HE did for me otherwise I wouldn’t be here! And though their may be many reasons for ACTING OUT ABORTION none will ever remove the fact that it is the Death of an unborn LIFE which equals murder in the eyes of GOD!

“In an ideal situation, their platform would mean that the government passes out condoms so people can fornicate at will. For those who happen to get pregnant in the process, platform advocates that you kill the baby at the will of the mother, up and including the ninth month.

At the same time, it advocates a homosexual marriage, which is an oxymoron, an utter impossibility, and a gross violation of the law of God. And then to add to that, the murder of abortion, and then a platform originally leaving God out. All of that’s Romans 1. Romans 1 says God will judge, God has judged throughout human history, nations that experience sexual freedom. Romans chapter 1 lays that out clearly: the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against those who advocate sexual freedom, sexual conduct outside of marriage. And that’s an indication of the demise of a nation.

And then Romans 1 also says that God will judge those nations that advocate homosexual behavior, men with men, women with women, doing what is unnatural. They are also haters of God, haters of God–leaving God out, advocating abortion, advocating homosexuality, advocating free sexual conduct and government-provided condoms so that everybody can do what they want. That is literally creating a platform out of what God hates.

This is not about politics, although there are things we could talk about. You’re not voting for a pastor, you’re not voting for a spiritual leader, you’re voting for someone who has some sense of morality. Since the Bible says that the role of government is to punish evil doers and protect the good, you better have somebody in power who understands what is good and what is evil. And if you think homosexuality, abortion, sexual freedom, hating God are not evil, then you better go back and check your Bible again. How can people with that kind of agenda protect those who do good and punish those who do evil? That’s Romans 13’s definition of the role of government. We could talk about foreign policies, should we protect as many defenseless people from evil aggressors as possible? We could talk about economics, Is it right to get into irreparable debt? Is that responsibility? We could talk about that.”

“Halloween is not a play thing!”

“Ancient druids set up Halloween as a day to sacrifice to Satan. Druids offered children because they believed that the “fruit of the body ” was the only true offering to Satan for the sin of the soul. The trick or treat custom was also created by the druids. When they went to a home on Halloween night they would demand a child or a virgin for a sacrifice. The victim was the druids treat. In exchange, they would leave a jack-o-lantern with a lighted candle made of human fat to prevent those inside from being killed by demons that night. When some unfortunately couldn’t meet the demands of the druids, then it was time for a trick. A symbolic hex was drawn on the front door. That night Satan or his demons would kill someone in that home.”

Halloween is not a play thing!.

Cancer…

In support of those who have been affected, continue to be affected and/or have overcome. There are always questions which are difficult to answer, Tears that seem endless, pain that reaches our heart of hearts, thoughts that weigh tons, strong men and women who seem to never lose their smiles, selfless men and women who carry on for a husband a wife a child a friend, hopeful men and women who believe and people who truly care and stand in support of them all.

Allow me if you may, to share the fact that God is aware and cares for you and your struggle with Cancer. He cares about ALL sicknesses, pains, tears, fears etc. He has vowed to be with you if you choose to be for Him! And all though it may seem like He does not care BELIEVE me HE does! He cares about our temporary bodies but I dare say HE cares more about your ETERNITY. He is more than capable of healing you but more importantly than a physical healing He cares about your soul. He promised to make it all better, to make it all STOP and HE will! He gave His life as a ransom so that we did not have to endure God’s wrath after this life and what ever suffering we may encounter! You have the opportunity to enjoy Life after Life in Eternity with HIM! You will be given a perfect body with no more tears, no more sorrows, no more sadness or memories of pain. This is what HE offers you. He loves you!

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.  

In my life I have witnessed the deteriorating of a friend and sister in Christ to cancer. Though I have known others I personally seen her suffer and battle treatment after treatment until her fight was over. If there was one thing she was aware and sure of it was that one day it would all be over and she would have the opportunity to spend eternity in the presence of God with no more suffering!

Friend, God has a better body prepared for you! One which does not know deterioration or sickness or death and He willingly offers you the opportunity to have it! #Believe in HIM! Accept HIM and allow this suffering to be an opportunity to become a recipient of this promise of an Eternal Weight of Glory prepared for you and not an opportunity to blame Him in turn disqualifying yourself of receiving His eternal pardon!

For those who have lost a loved one, the pain and sadness that remains can never be removed by memories. No matter how much we try it doesn’t bring them back but at times will provoke a smile. I remember my uncle quite often and how he suffered yet the good times we shared will always bring a smile. The love he always demonstrated will always be remembered and serves as an example to my life. There is a Hope we may hold on to and it is that one day very soon we will join our loved one(s) in heaven and together delight in Gods eternal love!

My prayers go out to you!

Change

Imagine what you do today turns out changing the course of the life of your child, spouse, brother(s), sister(s) etc… I think you’ll see it is well worth it! See CHANGE can come by YOU!

Imagine if “Illegal Lobbying” would be made “”Illegal””? That would mean that every politician would probably fight for what they believed in stead of selling themselves! Then and maybe only then will Dems and Reps really mean belonging to separate teams! Until then…Happy trails… ((( whistlin’ =o@ Till we meet again….)))

Imagine if politicians actually did what people voted for? notice I said voted for because you don’t vote them in! But imagine what would be of america if all the good things said in speeches actually happened!!! In stead of having what corporations pay to happen!

Imagine if we “ALL” the people expected the government to run itself according to the constitution of the united states and that we actually knew very well what it stood for and protected us from? What could a people united do for this country? for the good of the people not an individual or a corporation but a PEOPLE!

Imagine you, us as individuals living up to everything we expect from everyone else? What could you do better in this world? Even if it is only seen by your family and close friends! What change in your inner circle could you provoke? What difference in the life of those around you could you stimulate by being the best you could be? Thank you if you already do! and if you don’t it’s simply a provocation to do so in the stead of simply complaining and doing nothing! Create change in your own surroundings! now SMILE!

Lies

Lies are like sheets. We pile them on to keep us cozy, away from shame, fear of failure, rejection etc. but there soon arises a need for oxygen and we find out that our nakedness becomes exposed. Now all the lies we piled up are a vapor.

If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Proverbs 3:24

That is a promise! HOWEVER He says this first;

¹³ Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding,

²¹ My son, do not lose sight of these— keep sound wisdom and discretion,

The Lord gives!

Proverbs 2 ⁶ For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; ⁷ he stores up sound wisdom for the upright;

There are so many promises we may attain through keeping His word in our heart and mind. When we allow them to transform our mind and conform it to the mind of Christ. By allow, I by no means mean to say that God is subject to our choice to do so or not. For it is by grace that we have the opportunity to wholeheartedly seek His wisdom and understanding through His word and in prayer through the desire which He himself places in us through the Holy Spirit! Ultimately, if we are chosen He gets us to where we need to be!

 In this case I chose to speak of lies and how they enable the opposite of what God’s word does. They enable fear, failure, laziness, ungodliness, pride etc. which can be classified as sin, all of which keep us far away from God. He does not delight in any of the above mentioned.

 I pray that you choose God’s word which may require dying to your flesh but there is a greater reward if you chose to do so. As Paul writes to the church at Corinth:

Treasure in jars of clay-

But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So death is at work in us, but life in you. Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, “I believed, and so I spoke,” we also believe, and so we also speak, knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence. For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God. So we do not lose heart. The word of God speaks clearly and for itself. We simply need to be in it!
